Visualization consists of using any variety of tools for assisting interested stake holders to picture what a building or space will look like prior to completion of a building. The first types of visualization tools included hand sketches and renderings. Mediums today include any number of two and three dimensional rendering techniques including virtual reality.

2d Visualization


Photoshoping has become a synonymous with visual editing of images or photographs. In architecture this and similar programs are used to refine renderings and create visualizations of projects. Commonly used programs include:
